Ideal's Star Team KNIGHT OF DARKNESS Figure, 1977.
From Ideal's answer to the success of the Star Wars Figure line, this is KNIGHT OF DARKNESS from Star Team. 12" tall,, figure comes in the original costume with cape and high black boots (same as those used for Captain Action with the lightning bolt on the front). Marked on the back of the "Darth Vader-like" head "© 1977", Ideal oval logo, and "HKP. H-285". The boots are marked "Hong Kong" on the bottoms.
CONDITION:
There is silvering rubbed from the center piece on the chest of the outfit. Original vinyl belt is included. The rest of the costume is in fine condition. The knee of his right leg is a little loose.

Approx. 5 ¼" large, white plastic figure of an Astronaut. Marked on the base "Louis Marx & Co., Inc. © MCMLXX Made In U.S.A." This is one of the original issues of this Marx figure, not a re-issue.
CONDITION:
There are some rubs to the edges of the plastic with a few minor rough spots. Overall very fine condition.

Original Issue Plastic, Non-Articulated Indian Brave Figure, 1964.
Approx. 5 ½" large, molded in peach colored plastic, this highly detailed figure features an Indian Brave with a feathered spear in one hand and a club in the other. There is fringe molded out on the sides of his legs, some rippled to simulate movement. Marked on the base "Louis Marx & Co., Inc. © MCMLXIV".
CONDITION:
Figure appears to be in excellent condition. No broken is missing pieces.

Set Of 3 Plastic, Non-Articulated PLASTIMARX Indian Figures.
6- 6 ¾"large, molded in chocolate colored plastic, this set of three features one Indian Chief with ceremonial headdress and two of the same Indian Brave brandishing an upraised axe. All three are marked on the base "Plastimarx Mexico". The Chief is marked "3" and the Brave is marked "4". These are original issues Marx figures, not re-issues, estimated to be dated from the mid to late 1970's.
CONDITION:
There is something broken off the edge of the Chief's hand. The other two figures are in very fine condition.

CONDITION:
There are a few bite marks to the edges of the fingers of the left hand and a few minor rubs to the edges of the hair in the front. 4 small "pinhead-sized" holes in the shirt. Some crease marks to the emblem. Some fraying to the edges of the cape. The green shorts have been replaced. No gloves. Overall, fine condition.

VERY RARE VICTORIAN HAND-PAINTED WOODEN SOLDIERS CARPET BOWLING PLAYSET In BOX, ORIGINAL BALLS!
This VERY RARE playset ~ still in its original box~ is a fabulous example of the Victorian era toy... complete & in very nice condition indeed! Description of the individual pieces of this set is as follows:
There are ten, hand-painted Wooden Soldier pins, carved into figural Cadet "doll" forms. Faces are painted in flesh-tones with black eyebrows, eyes, nose, & mustached "smiles". Each little guy measures 6 ¾" H, & wears his top hat with painted plume & buttons, chinstrap, jacket with buttoned high collar, double breasted with festoons, white pants & black bases for his shoes. EACH SOLDIER is hand-painted and NO TWO are exactly alike! Each face has a slightly different expression... & they are an art form in themselves...
COLORS of the Jackets are 5 in RED… BROWN... GREY... AQUA BLUE... AQUA GREEN... & CADET BLUE. There are four wooden balls to play the ten pins game... 1 Aqua, 1 Green, and 2 Yellow.
All pieces fitted into inserts on bottom of the original box, which measures 19 ½" L X 7 ½" W X 2" H. Box lid states " MILITARY TEN PINS" & BRODHAVEN MFG CO. INC. NEW YORK Made in U.S.A. Number "898".
CONDITION:
The little CADETS display some minor signs of age, including rubs to their paint here and there, & wood nicks on bases of two of the boys. Wonderful, considering the intended use of this toy.
WOODEN BALLS display expected rubs to paint.
The BOX has sustained a bit more aging... two small bottom side panels missing... lid has piece missing from one short side panel... two panels torn & reattached with tape. Tape on both lid & bottom of box, to hold this oldie together! Also, fading to original color on lid & a nick here & there. Best thing we can say about the box is... IT' S THERE!

This vintage hard-stuffed, red velour Dachshund Dog was manufactured by Dakin as one of their DREAM PETS series. There is no paper hang-tag, but the stitched tag is sewn into the back of one leg, which reads "DREAM ® PETS © R. Dakin & Co." … "Prod. Of Japan" … "All New Materials Cont. Wood By Products".
This Pet measures approx. 6" high x nearly 3" widest x 7" long. The facial features are applied felt, velour, and the nose is stitched. The applied white hat is felt with a red felt band and "feather" decoration. Another white strip of felt makes a collar around the neck.
CONDITION:
This vintage Dream Pet is in very fine condition with minor soiling consistent with age on the white felt hat. The velour is clean and stain-free. Comes from a smoke-free environment.

This Pet measures approx. 6" high x 2 ½" widest x about 5" deep. The facial features are applied felt, velour, and the "whiskers" are inked on.
CONDITION:
This vintage Dream Pet is in very fine condition with minor soiling consistent with age, mostly on the bottom of the feet. There are a few light stains seen on the velour. Comes from a smoke-free environment.

DREAM PETS JAPAN BIG BRUT #1236 ST. BERNARD W/ TAG, 1960s.
This vintage hard-stuffed, velour dog was manufactured by Dakin as one of their DREAM PETS series. The oval paper hang-tag names him as BIG BRUT, #1236. The stitched tag is sewn into the back of one leg, which reads "DREAM ® PETS © R. Dakin & Co." … "Prod. Of Japan" … "All New Materials Wood By Products".
This Pet measures approx. 6 ½" high x 2 ½" widest x about 6" long.
Big Brut wears a green felt hat with braided band with simulated "feather" on his head, but he wouldn't be a St. Bernard without his barrel of brandy under his chin. This is almost ALWAYS missing from this vintage Pet! The brown plastic barrel hangs around his neck from a gold colored cord.
CONDITION:
This vintage Dream Pet is in very fine condition with very minor soiling consistent with age on the whites. The green hat has faded from age. Overall, the velour is clean and stain-free. Comes from a smoke-free environment.

DAKIN JAPAN DREAM PETS VELOUR CHRISTMAS SANTA MOUSE, 1960s.
This vintage hard-stuffed, red velour Christmas Mouse was manufactured for Dakin as one of their DREAM PETS series. He is wearing a red "Santa" suit with green felt hat and scarf and white pompom. The eyes are applied felt, as is the mouth. The nose is applied black plastic with black vinyl whiskers. He stands approx. 7 ½" large with 6 ¼" ear span.
The stitched tag has been cut off, but remnants of the white, gold and blue tag remain. However, were the tag still applied, it most likely would have read: "DREAM ® PETS © R. Dakin & Co." … "Prod. Of Japan" … "All New Materials Cont. Wood By Products".
CONDITION:
This vintage Dream Pet is in good condition with minor soiling to the light pink color of the inner ear, consistent with age. The green felt color has faded somewhat, also from age. Comes from a smoke-free environment.

Van Tellingen TEDDY ZILO # 777.
This is the TEDDY ZILO pull toy illustrated by Van Tellingen. It features Teddy dressed in a red shirt with a white collar, green bow tie, blue & white striped shorts, green socks, & black shoes. The illustration is a mirror image, printed on paper, & applied to the wooden cutout. When pulled, his arms, holding sticks, tap down onto the metal bars of the xylophone. This piece measures approx. 11" high x 9" wide x 4 ¾" deep. There is a red painted, wooden ball at the end of the pull cord. The wheels are wood, as are all of the other parts, except the metal ones of course! It is marked "Pat No. 2,089,885" and "© Fisher-Price Toys, Inc. East Aurora N.Y."
CONDITION:
One side of the paper illustration was colored in red, however most of this has been removed. There is some residue of the color remaining on this side, & has caused the illustration to "lighten". There are small chips out of the wooden tips of the sticks & some discoloration to the metal xylophone plates.

"Merry Mousewife" Wood Pull Toy, 1962.
"Merry Mousewife" from Fisher Price stands about 5 ½" tall x 7" at her widest. She is wood, with paper laminates on all five sides, & she gets about on four red wheels. Attached to her nose is the remnant of her original red plastic pull cord, now measuring approx. 4 ½"L. There are yellow plastic adornments, i.e. her maid's cap & ribbon, her hands & broom, & her "C-hook" tail. She says "Merry Mousewife" in script on her apron (both sides). Underneath her tail in the back is the old FP logo & "Fisher*Price Toys" printed. On the back of her head it reads "© 62 Fisher Price Toys Inc. East Aurora, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A."
CONDITION:
This toy is not without some flaws. As mentioned above, it has only a partial pull cord. There are rubs along the edges of the laminated pictures & some chipping to the paper on the front of her dress. Also, the paper has discolored with age & displays about average wear for a vintage toy that has been played with.

Atlantic City STEEL PIER Souvenir Set MIB, 1930's.
This is a VERY RARE China Tea Set, all never removed from the original cardboard box.
It consists of two cups, two saucers, sugar with lid, creamer, and tea pot with lid, for a total of 9 pieces. The saucers, cups, creamer, sugar, & pot each feature a color illustration of the Pier with the saucers and pot having "ATLANTIC CITY, NJ" and "STEEL PIER" printed in black above & below the illustration. All appear to be hand painted. Edges and handles are outlined in burnt orange. Pot measures approx. 2 ¼" high x slightly more than 3 ½" at the widest. Saucers measure 2 1/8" in diameter. Sugar is 1 1/8" high x 1 ¾" at the widest. Creamer is in proportion. Cups are ¾" high x 1 ¾" at the widest. All pieces are marked "Japan" in the burnt orange color on top of the glaze.
The cardboard box is dark orange & white checked, with a removable lid. Original McCory's price sticker still applied to one side. Marked simply with "No. B539/817", and "Made In Japan" on the same side.
CONDITION:
This set is in remarkable condition. Never having been used, & kept in the original box, the illustrations are still bright, without damage or paint loss. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The set has some rough edges, but these are factory issued. The box is clean, without paper tears or other damage.

The LITTLE RED HEN Wind-Up In Original Box, 1930's.
This vintage, figural tin wind-up toy is in the original cardboard box. Metal crank on the side causes the HEN to "cackle". The "Egg", which are small marbles, is inserted into the tail & rolls out the side. Made by Balwin Manufacturing Co., Inc., Brooklyn NY, and made in U.S.A.
CONDITION:
There is no rust or oxidation to the illustrated tin HEN. There is some oxidation on the metal crank. When cranked, the toy makes noise, but the marble egg rolls out as soon as it's inserted into the tail.
The original box, illustrated with the toy on one side & a cartoon Hen on the other, displays damage. The top & middle flaps are torn off, but are included. The crank has poked through on the cartoon side. Displays general wear & tear.

When turned, not only are there the usual colored chips to form the kaleidoscope, but animal shapes as well. Made by Green Monk Combex, in Darfield England. Box features color illustrations of this and another "Travel" kaleidoscope in a repeating pattern on three sides.
CONDITION:
Kaleidoscope is in excellent condition. Appears to never have been played with. The flap to the top of the box is separated, but included.

Steven Millions of Designs Kaleidoscope, 1950's.
This is a Steven Kaleidoscope constructed of paper, metal & plastic. The cylinder portion is covered in a rich red colored paper with some of the many designs that the kaleidoscope forms. The turner is a dark blue paper with yellow scalloped edges. There are also some designs pictured here. Both the cylinder & the turner are trimmed with metal, as is the viewfinder. The bottom has a translucent plastic cover. It is marked "Steven Kaleidoscope Millions of Designs Steven MFG, Co. St Louis, MO".
CONDITION:
This is an old kaleidoscope (we believe it to be from the 1950's, but this is just our impression), & over time some dust has collected inside the tube. The metal parts have oxidized & appear to be early tin. We have not attempted to clean this, for fear of damaging the interior mirror. There is one small paper tear near the viewfinder of the tube & a few small rubs in this general area.

STEVEN Kaleidoscope, 1940's.
This vintage STEVENS kaleidoscope features a hard cardboard tube, decorated with different types of snowflakes in red, white, and blue. The ends are tin. Rather than have a separate piece to turn, you turn the entire tube. Marked "Steven Mfg. Co. St. Louis, MO".
CONDITION:
There is a small paper tear along the seam. There is some oxidation to the tin eye piece.

GORHAM Carved Wood Music Box With Original Hang-Tag.
This wooden music box features a Teddy Bear sitting atop a Rocking Horse with a ball & blocks… all set on a drum-shaped base. All is hand painted, & measures approx. 5 ½" tall x 4" diameter. The original paper hang-tag is attached by a silver cord. This reads "GWG" and "Gift World Of Gorham" on one side & "Musical 'Toy Land' " on the other. The drum sits on the metal turning knob, so that the box turns while it plays "Toy Land". The original silver foil sticker is also on the bottom.
CONDITION:
Box plays loud & clear, without hesitation. Head of drum a bit dusty… needs a bit of cleaning, but no chips, cracks, or damage to the box.

Steiff Original Box for YOUR Teddy Bear.
This is a very unusual item, the ORIGINAL box that many different Steiff animals came packed in when they were shipped to the stores. While it is considered lucky to find a Steiff toy with the original tag, it is nearly impossible to find the BOX that it came in! The top & bottom of the box is a deep red, with a yellow strip in the middle. In this yellow portion, there are drawings of Teddy Bears, monkeys, lions, Koalas, cats, & bunny rabbits. This same illustration is repeated on all four sides, & the "Steiff Button in Ear" logo is likewise repeated. Along the bottom right is "The Most Beautiful Toys," which is printed in Italian, German, & French on the other sides. The bottom of the box is marked "Printed in West-Germany".
CONDITION:
This item is in EXCELLENT condition with NO rips, stains or tears. There is some EXTREMELY minor wear to the edges & corners, but nothing that detracts from the item.

ANNALEE Graduate MOUSE, Felt Cap & Robe, 1965.
This vintage ANNALEE MOUSE measures approx. 6" tall, dressed in white felt robe and cap with white tassel. Holding a piece of rolled paper tied with a pink ribbon in one hand. Applied painted facial features and black pom-pom nose. The applied tail is gray flannel with a wire. There is a tag sewn onto the back of one arm. Tag appears to be painted fiber with ANNALEE ® © 1965 Mobilitee ™ Dolls, Inc. Meredith, NH, USA" printed in red. There is also printing on the interior of the tag, listing the contents as cotton string.
CONDITION:
The MOUSE is in very good condition, but displays some age soiling. The whites of the felt have aged to an off-white. There are no holes or odors.

ROBOTIX SERIES R-1500 MOTORIZED BRONT A-T CRAWLER 1985.
“The Motorized Modular Building System” by Milton Bradley, this is “Bront” the R-1500 Series of Robotix.
Comes in the original box with connection booklet, accessory sheet, 1 action figure, one vehicle, 58 little plastic bits, wheels, and cylinder,  2 power cables, 1 controller, 2 motors, 4 long arms, 2 short arms, and 1 large jaw.  There are also labels, but they are either applied or loose in the Styrofoam housing.
CONDITION:
This toy is in used condition.  We have not attempted to construct Bront and test the mechanics.  The pieces are in very fine condition—none appear to be broken or damaged.  There is some corrosion in the battery box; uses 4 “C” size batteries.
