"CHRYSANTHEMUM QUILT, Hand Stitched.

VINTAGE CROCHET LACE FANCY HOSTESS APRON WITH RAG RIBBON COVERED APPLE,
1930s.
This is a truly wonderful relic from the past…skilled handwork classified
as folk art in it's "love of home & family" so prevalent in the good
ol' days!!
This intricate antique white and "fade to blue" colored crocheted
apron features a scalloped edge, and the band around the waist, which continues out
to the apron ties, has a four-petal flower design. Measures approx. 23" waist
to hem, 14" spreading out to 32" at the hem, and the entire waist with
ties measures approx. 59".
The APPLE is a Styrofoam ball covered with vintage
"rag" material-a pink and white floral pattern against a cadet blue background.
A twisted paper stem and embossed silky leaf are applied. Measures approx. 3 ½"
to the top of the stem x 3" in diameter.
CONDITION:
The crochet Apron
is in very fine condition-well preserved and obviously a cherished family heirloom.
It is very clean, and comes free of rips and tears from a smoke-free environment.
The
Apple is is very fine condition. It also comes from a smoke-free environment.

Yo-Yo Hand-stitched Quilt 12" Square Pillow Top.
This beautiful
piece measures approx. 12" x 12", & includes 81 hand sewn circles,
stitched into the "yo-yo" quilt pattern of nine rows across & nine down.
The designs of the cloth from which the circles are cut include: solids, stripes,
gingham, polka-dots, floral designs, & appear to be vintage cotton material.
CONDITION:
This item is in excellent condition, with NO rips, stains or tears.
Comes from a smoke-free environment.

GENUINE VINTAGE BARKCLOTH~EAMES ERA~WOODLAND MOTIF~1950s.
Beautiful, and quite unusual GENUINE VINTAGE 1950s "Eames Era" Woodland pattern
motif Barkcloth fabric yardage, in a heavy drapery or upholstery-weight.
Colorful light and dark colored leaves, which resemble tropical Palm leaves,
with touches of rose and burgundy hang from tree branches of tan, brown, and
dark brown; all against a ground of egg-shell white.
The fabric is signed along the salvage end, but we can't read all of it as it
mixes with the colors of the fabric. Here's what we can make out: "?? tested
fabric Reg app'l for U.S. Pat. Off. Best Obtainable Vat Dyes Shrunketized ??"
Measures approx. 109" long x 49 1/2" wide.
This fabric is in wonderful, unused
condition, without any rips or holes. However, it's been folded for half a
century + so there are areas of slight discoloration along the fold marks. We
have not attempted to clean, and will leave this up to the new owners. Also
comes from a smoke free environment.
Makes a fabulous addition to any vintage Barkcloth collection!

1950's Barkcloth material… we are offering this matched set of two pairs [four
panels] of summer weight Curtains and Bedspread!
The fantastic designs on this
material are large & vivid…no fading here!… & show a wonderful stone wall…
fancy iron gate fence… pond surrounded by tall trees …& very dramatic, colorful
foliage & branches of berries in the foreground. The colors include shades of
fuchsia… coral… brown …& turquoise, set into a pearl gray ground. This summer
weight Barkcloth has a marvelous weave, & is most likely fine, quality cotton.
Four
Panels to cover two windows. Each Curtain Panel measures approx. 40" W X 74"
L, & features ruffled edges on one side plus bottom. A wonderful & unusual
decorator touch!
The Bedspread also features ruffled sides, & drop bottom.
This measures approx. 95" long x 91" wide {including ruffles}.
CONDITION:
The
condition of this item is excellent! There are no tears, holes, stains, fading or
odors…clean , crisp & ready to RETRO-CHIC your wonderful 50's Bedroom! A most

180 thread count, no-iron percale (50% Kodel Polyester / 50% Cotton) & manufactured

sealed, so pattern is not distinguished.
