Vintage Full-Size DRESDEN PLATE
"CHRYSANTHEMUM QUILT, Hand Stitched.

VINTAGE CROCHET LACE FANCY HOSTESS APRON WITH RAG RIBBON COVERED APPLE,
1930s.
This is a truly wonderful relic from the past…skilled handwork classified
as folk art in it's "love of home & family" so prevalent in the good
ol' days!!
This intricate antique white and "fade to blue" colored crocheted
apron features a scalloped edge, and the band around the waist, which continues out
to the apron ties, has a four-petal flower design. Measures approx. 23" waist
to hem, 14" spreading out to 32" at the hem, and the entire waist with
ties measures approx. 59".
The APPLE is a Styrofoam ball covered with vintage
"rag" material-a pink and white floral pattern against a cadet blue background.
A twisted paper stem and embossed silky leaf are applied. Measures approx. 3 ½"
to the top of the stem x 3" in diameter.
CONDITION:
The crochet Apron
is in very fine condition-well preserved and obviously a cherished family heirloom.
It is very clean, and comes free of rips and tears from a smoke-free environment.
The
Apple is is very fine condition. It also comes from a smoke-free environment.

MOD FIFTIES Snack Tray With CHEF'S Towels, SEALED MIP!
This vintage
set, still SEALED in the original clear wrap, was manufactured by BUCILLA in the
1950's. It features a gold-tone metal-mesh serving tray with black plastic cord wrapped
handles.
Wrapped in clear plastic, and taped to the tray are two terry cloth
TOWELS. One features a male CHEF serving three drinks. The other towel features a
female CHEF holding what appears to be a cake (top is covered by the other towel).
The illustrations on both towels are in black and yellow against a white background.
Tag in the lower right corner reads "BUCILLA SNACK TRAY with Two Jiffy Dry
Dish Towels Hand Painted In Fast Colors".
CONDITION:
As mentioned, the
set is sealed with no damage to the towel or to the metal tray.

piece measures approx. 12" x 12", & includes 81 hand sewn circles,
stitched into the "yo-yo" quilt pattern of nine rows across & nine down.
The designs of the cloth from which the circles are cut include: solids, stripes,
gingham, polka-dots, floral designs, & appear to be vintage cotton material.
