"C De" CHRISTIAN DIOR STERLING SILVER PENDANT/BROOCH & MATCHING
EARRINGS SET.
This is a lovely and very unusual set. Stylized oval pin-back
pendant may be worn on a chain, or as a brooch. The jet black enamel center is set
in very elaborate swirled sterling frame. The oval brooch measures approx 1 3/8"
L X ¾"W .
Matching earrings to this set, screw-back, are framed in saw-tooth
design sterling, with jet enamel the approx. size of the jet center of the pendant.
The earrings are ½" long and oval.
These pieces are signed "C DE"…on
reverse of the earrings and brooch/pendant.
Lovely, delicate set, for gift giving
or a fabulous addition to your own collection!

This vintage pin was
designed by CORO, marked in the signature script style directly into the back of
the piece. The gold tone metal pin is shaped like a basket with flowers coming out
the top. Each of the three flowers features a different colored rhinestone prong-set
into the center, in red, cobalt, and aquamarine. Pin measures slightly less than
2" widest x 2" high. Closes with a safety clasp.

"Merlin The Sorcerer" Fantasy Pin.
It measures a rather
huge near 4" L x 2 1/3" W. It's details of gold-tone stylized figure, with

VINTAGE MIRIAM HASKELL RHINESTONE & CRYSTAL BROOCH WITH GOLD FILIGREE
BACK.
A unique and glittery brooch, with hand-set lapidary cut imported crystal
stones. Measuring approx. 1 ¾" x 1 ½" this VINTAGE oval pin is marked on
the back with the MIRIAM HASKELL signature gold plate applied to the gold-filled/washed
filigreed back, as was standard on the old Haskell designed signature jewelry.
Pin
features CITRINE, AMBER, and TOPAZ colored rhinestones, each prong-set in the center
of a metal flower, which are layered and raised with light burnishing at the edges
for detailing. A faceted CITRINE stone highlights the center of the pin. Closes in
the back with a safety clasp.

"Pearl" and "Coral" Necklace And Earrings Set, 1950's.
This
vintage set designed by HOBE, marked on the back of each earring and with their signature
hallmark on an attached plate to the necklace. Both the earrings and the necklace
feature beads simulating pearls and coral, each bead prong-set into gold-tone metal.
Necklace also features decorative gold link chains applied to the top of the row
of beads, set in three graduating strands. Necklace measures 15 ¼" at the shortest
with and additional 4" of chain added to the back. Earrings are round, measuring
approx. 1" in diameter.

"SHELL" CAMEO SET IN FANCY PEARLS & TURQUOISE
STUDDED FRAME, 1950s.
Magnificent carved Cameo Pendant Brooch signed by designer
house FLORENZA.
Large oval Cameo, profile of a woman with upswept hair, set into
a scrolled and cut-work gilt gold-tone metal brooch. It is framed with a ring of
simulated Pearls and faux Turquoise beads.
There is a large hook on the back
that allows this to hang from a chain as a Pendant. There is also a pin that closes
with a safety clasp. It is marked "FLORENZA ©" on the back.
The piece
measures approx. 1 5/8" x 1 3/8" x ½" thick.
CONDITION:
This
wonderful vintage Pendant Brooch is in very fine condition. There are no missing
Pearls or Turquoise beads, and no damage to the gilt gold-tone metal frame.

MARVELLA:
This 1930s vintage set of "Simulated Pearls" was made
by Designer House MARVELLA.
Measuring approx. 18" in total length, this strand
of Pearls features Coral and Gold beads to give this timeless classic a little twist.
The Pearl beads are strung on cord, knotted between each bead, just as are Genuine
& Cultured Pearls. The joiner to the clasp is a brass plaque that is marked
MARVELLA along with their logo.
This beautiful strand comes in the original velvet,
satin lined box, and includes the rare seldom found, original booklet. The box is
a deep rose color, white satin lined inside. "Marvella" is printed under
the lid in stylized lettering in the same deep ruby rose color. A bow with a flower
bouquet is attached to the interior of the lid.
The booklet has "Marvella
Simulated Pearls" and "Naturelle" with the logo, all printed in the
deep ruby color on the front. Inside reads "Marvella "Naturelle"
quality has been created to simulate the subdued luster and subtle tones of fine
cultured pearls…"
CONDITION:
Some of the pearl beads display slight darkening
due to age, however, still maintains luster & patina. The cord is tight and
strong. Overall, the necklace is in very fine condition.
The velvet box and
the booklet are also in very fine condition, consistent with a piece of this age.
Of all the offerings, this must be one of our very favorites…may it soon be one
of yours…

This vintage 1950s pair of gold-filled screw-back earrings
each feature one black and one white Cultured Pearl. Each earring measures approx.
½" in length, and are marked "1/20 12K G.F.". They are also marked
with "MARVEL" in stylized script lettering and the logo. They are also
marked on the back of the metal that holds the pearls.

M&J SAVITT STERLING SILVER ~ CARNELIAN PIERCED CUFFLINKS.
This
vintage set of sterling silver cufflinks were designed by famous Silversmiths M &
J SAVITT.
The round face of each cufflink measures approx. ¾" in diameter
with the carnelian measuring approx. ¼" in diameter. There is pierced cutwork
on the Sterling face in an abstract or Aztec Mexican style.
Both cufflinks are
incised on the back with the maker's mark and "Sterling".
CONDITION:
These
vintage cufflinks are in very fine condition. There is the tiniest warp along one
edge of one of the cuffs. This is hardly noticeable-can really only be seen when
viewed from the thin edge of the face, so slight that we couldn't get a photograph
of it-but is mentioned for full disclosure.

This is a charming
figural brooch by the very respected Lang Designers, of two little Lovebirds kissing
within their elegant little birdcage! This piece weighs in at 56 dwt. & measures
2 ¼" H X 1 1/3" W. Very elegant detailing… The entire piece is reprousse`,
with the two birds chased & crafted separately from their cage…actually set "out"
from the bars on the front of the pin. The delicately designed & embellished
cage hangs from lovely "C" Scrolls, which flow from the top down the side
of the cage.

This is an
elegant piece, very dramatic & visual in its simple design. The brooch features
two grape leaves, which are draped with a single line of grapes…attached to the vines
& stem. Attention to detail is superb…Each grape is in reprousse` with the cut
leaves heavily chased, as are the stem & vines. The back of the piece has the
maker's cartouche "Sterling By JewelArt" in a circular plate attached.
Weighing 91 dwt, & measuring 2 ¼" H X 1 7/8" W, this is NOT a flimsy
piece…attesting to the quality of 1940's workmanship. Closes securely with safety

Designer Sterling Silver Turquoise Figural Sombrero Pin.
This is
a fabulous, vintage figural Mexican designer brooch. It is in the charming shape
of a Mexican Sombrero with a turquoise bead set into the top. Measuring approx. 1
3/8" diameter x 5/8" high, it is engraved decorated with horseshoes… flowers…
leaf garland… and twisted rope in the true style of the Vacqueros. It is marked on
the back with the Artist's hallmark and "Hecho En Mexico 925 PM". Closes
with a safety latch.
CONDITION:
This brooch is in Excellent condition with
no bends, splits, or damage to either the sterling or the pin back… which closes &
locks perfectly.

Mexican Sterling Heart & Cross Earrings.
This is a lovely &
large set of sterling earrings for pierced ears, with hearts at the top & a cross
dangling from the bottom. The hearts are accented along the edges with impressed
half moons circling the border, while the crosses have a more intricate design. There
are impressed lines, half-moons, circles, & ruffles. All of the incrustations
are burnished.
The hearts each measure approx. 1"W x 1"L, the cross
measures 1 ¼"W x 1 ½"L, & the entire earring measures 2 ½"L. Both
are stamped on the back "925 Mexico".
CONDITION:
This set is in
excellent condition, with NO bends or splits in the silver. Overall, simply an impressive
& important set, weighing in at approx. 30 grams!

STERLING CHARM BRACELET WITH 25 ENAMEL & FIGURAL STERLING CHARMS,
1940s-60s.
This
beautiful, vintage charm bracelet comes from the estate of a widely-traveled lady.
Many of these charms were gathered over the years as souvenirs from her trips around
the country & all over the world.
The bracelet itself is a wide, multi-link
chain measuring approx. ½"W x nearly 7 ½"L (with the clasp). It is marked
"JB Sterling", & has an extra safety chain. Total weight of the bracelet
& charms is 95.2 G.
Included on the bracelet are the DISC-SHAPED CHARMS:
"A Date To Remember 5-14-31", marked ©Wells Ster. . . . "M E R"
& "8-1-66" engraved on either side, marked "JB Sterling"…an
enameled design in the center with "Unity For Service /National Exchange Club"….
a blue enameled ring with "Gettysburg Penna" surrounding a scene of the
"Eternal Light"…. an engraved bouquet of flowers on one side, & "8-1-36"
on the other… a gold-tone eagle with wings spread… the silhouette of a boy on one
side, & "Phillip 2-14-45" engraved on the other (her son's birthday)…
A Happy Birthday disc has "9-26-16" engraved on the side, then there is
a sterling disc from the "Cog Railway Mt. Washington, N.H." with a steam-engine
locomotive surrounded by a cobalt blue enamel band. Of the last two discs, one has
the profile of a saint on one side with "Blessed Elizabeth Ann Seton" on
the back…. & a Red Cross symbol in enamel, with "Ten Years" printed
around it.
There are also SHIELD-SHAPED CHARMS:
an enameled scene
of a sailboat on the water. In the sky-blue background is printed "Norfolk,
VA", & marked "Rosecraft, Sterling"… a large ship with "M.W.
Mount Washington" printed over the enameled sky & water (sterling)…. sterling/enamel
souvenir from St. Michaels, MD….
FIGURAL CHARMS include:
a cross
(marked sterling), a bible with a viewer of the Ten Commandments… a mink stole, criss-crossed
like a ribbon. There is a figural golf bag with three clubs sticking up out of it…
a figural dog … U.S. Marine Corps emblem (marked sterling)… There is a female golfer
with a raised club, & a sterling typewriter with highly detailed gears &
keys. A figural military cap has the Air Force emblem, & is marked "STGJMF".
There
are more enameled charms, including a square one similar to a Maltese Cross, in red
& white (marked TOBA/10). There is an unusual one from the Kennedy Center is
marked "Made in Germany" on the back.
CONDITION:
All charms
& the bracelet itself are in excellent condition, with NO breaks, repairs, or
damage of any kind. An amazing collection, sure to delight the new owner for years
to come!

Butterscotch BAKELITE And LUCITE Necklace With Matching Earrings Set.
This
vintage necklace and earrings set is made from Butterscotch colored BAKELITE cubes
strung with LUCITE spheres (with swirls of light to dark brown giving it a tortoise
shell effect), and black faceted beads in a graduated pattern.
The largest BAKELITE
cube measures approx. 7/8" square, the smallest approx. ½" square. The largest
LUCITE sphere measures approx. 1" in diameter and the smallest 3/8". The
necklace measures approx. 12" (24" total length). Closes with a gold-tone
slide clasp, decorated with the LUCITE sphere.
The earrings are clip-on with a
LUCITE sphere attached to the top and two black faceted beads on either end of a
small BAKELITE cube dangle. The earrings measure approx. 1 ¼" total length with
the clip-on portion 5/8" deep where it would attach to the ear.
CONDITION:
All
the beads are in very fine condition, with no breaks, chips, or cracks. There is
a little give so that the necklace will fit comfortably. Clasp works fine, and earrings
clip and hold their place on the ears. There is some minor rubs to the gold tone
clasp.

VINTAGE Original BAKELITE DEEP-Carved ROSE Pin.
This lovely, vintage
pin is very deeply hand carved from Butterscotch BAKELITE. Measures approx. 1"
wide x 1 1/8" high x ½" deep. There is a gold tone "C Hook" clasp
applied to the back…quite common with the real oldies intended for wearing on dress.
Dates from the late 1920's/early '30's. The pin bar is extended past the hook in
order to tuck into material & keep the pin secured during wear.
CONDITION:
This
wonderful vintage BAKELITE pin is in Excellent condition. There are no melts, chips,
cracks, or hairlines.

Vintage Tortoise Colored BAKELITE Or Lucite Deep Carved Pin.
This
lovely, vintage pin is deeply hand carved in translucent "Tortoise Shell"
colored BAKELITE. The pin is an oval with a large blossom, leaves, and foliage carving
covering the entire table. Measures approx. 1 ½" wide x 1" high x ¼"
deep. Dates from the late 1920's/early '30's. There is a silver tone "C Hook"
clasp applied to the back, which was common with these oldies intended for wearing
on dresses.
CONDITION:
This wonderful vintage BAKELITE pin is in Excellent
condition. There are no melts, chips, cracks, or hairlines, and is from my personal
collection. These old pins are getting harder & harder to find with this, the
original pin back. This one is very special because it simulates the wonderful material
Tortoise Shell.

Carved LUCITE Bakelite Figural ELEPHANT PIN On ORIGINAL CARD.
A
vintage CARVED LUCITE or translucent BAKELITE elephant pin, which is very detailed,
with carved & molded eyes, mouth, ears, tail, feet, & tip of the trunk. The
plastic is a translucent dark amber or tortoise shell color, with an applied plastic/metal
C-hook fastening. Included on the back are unused findings, possibly to use this
same mold for a hair barrette (?). This item measures approx. 2 ½"W x 1 ¾"
H, & the card measures 2 ¾"W x 3"H. While the pin is unmarked, the card
is marked "Plastic Pals". Although it is not dated, we believe this item
to be from the late 1930's or 40's.
CONDITION:
This item is in excellent condition,
with NO chips, cracks, or melt marks. The original backing card displays normal age
wear, & one minor pen mark.

SCOTTIE Family Figural CELLULOID Pin, 1930's.
This vintage pin was
made in Czechoslovakia, which it is marked on the closure in the back. The plastic
is white Celluloid molded into the figures of Mom, Dad, and Baby Scottie dogs. Mom
carries a parasol in her paw as Dad plies the paddle for the boat that the three
are seated in. Paint applied on top of the plastic. Pin closes with a "C"
hook in the back.
CONDITION:
There are some rubs to the applied paint of the
boat and the parasol. No chips, cracks, or heat damage.

Large SCOTTIE DOG Figural Bakelite On Wood Fur Pin, 1930's.
Very
RARE vintage pin is in the shape of a SCOTTIE Dog's head, made to be worn on fur.
Made from wood with black BAKELITE applied to the front, and a glass eye inset into
the Bakelite. The large size measures approx. 2 3/8" at the widest x 2 3/8"
high. Closes in the back with a safety hook.
CONDITION:
There is a chip out
of the Bakelite at the end of the muzzle and a hairline by the eye. Smallest nick
out of the edge of a corner of the wood in the back.

WWII ENAMELED & ENGRAVED "OKINAWA" COMPACT CIGARETTE CASE.
This vintage WWII silver-toned compact/cigarette case features
Mount Fuji,
a dragon, a tiger, and foliage enameled on the front with striated shades of blue
on the back. "Memory of Okinawa" is etched in script with the shape of
the island, and city names engraved in block letters. The interior, decorated with
machine turned "coin dot" swirls, has one band of springs on the left side. Case appears
to be made from chrome.
CONDITION:
There are three small nicks out of the enamel
on the front of the case, two on the back. Opens & shuts with ease.

WWII ARMY AIR CORPS ENGRAVED STERLING COMPACT.
This vintage WWII
sterling silver compact features an applied Army Air Corps insignia (possibly in
brass) of wings and propeller inside an etched heart. A floral pattern is
also etched and then highlighted with red and pink enamel.
The interior, decorated with
machine turned "coin dot" swirls in the bottom of the compact, has
mirror inset into the underside of the lid. It is marked on the back
of the compact "STERLING", but is possibly plated in chrome over the Sterling.
CONDITION:
There are
some "rubs" and striations on the right side of the lid and on the edges.
We have not attempted to clean or polish the piece, and this may be as it was
intended since the etching it burnished. Opens & shuts with ease.
There is some damage to the "silvering" of the mirror.
