Absolutely
BEAUTIFUL! That's what everyone's going to be saying about YOU when wearing this
elegant EMANUEL UNGARO designer Fashion…
Made from 51% Silk and 49% Rayon in dark
gray material (which feels like crepe), this sleeveless blouse is covered in rows
of hand-beaded bugle beads, and is fully lined. It features a zipper down one side
for ease of dressing. The size is given as 12/46, but think it runs a little small,
so would also be ideal for size 10. {Looks great on our size 6 model too!}
It
still has the hang-tags applied. The first one reads "Emanuel Ungaro" on
the front and style, color, size, UPC code, and lists the Suggested Retail price
as $598.00!
The second hang-tag reads "This garment is made of a silk blend
which has a special washed and suede finish to give it a soft and powdery appearance.
The variations' in color shading and slight creases are characteristic of this technique,
this special finish enhances its beauty and is not to be considered a defect."
CONDITION:
This
gorgeous blouse has never been worn (except by our model for the photos). There are
no stains, rips, or tears. As mentioned, the original hang-tags are still applied.

VINTAGE HEAVILY BEADED LACE DRESS WITH PEARLS, SEQUINS, & RHINESTONES.
Made
from 70% Rayon and 30% Cotton "Mixed Lace" this vintage 1960's MOD Dress
is exquisite! This was sold in Mays Department Store in NYC as part of their special
couture collection in the 1960s.
This FABULOUS dress is covered in hand-sewn beads,
pearls, sequins, and even an aurora borealis rhinestone in the center of the teardrop
decoration on the bodice, making it quite dazzling-and quite heavy! The lace is a
pale green color on a net ground, lined with Rayon of the same color. The floral
motif on the main portion of the dress features pale apple-green colored beads lined
with silver, giving them a two-toned appearance. There are sequins under each pearl
in the center of the flower. The green beads around the neck and each wrist-cuff
are darker emerald green with no silver, but some of the apple-green beads are mixed
in with the emerald.
So much attention has been paid to detail on this dress!
There
is a label applied to the inside, which reads "Made Exclusively for J.W. Mays
Inc. in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong".
The size label says it is
a 10, but it fits closer to a modern US size 6 (which is the size of our model in
the photos). It closes with one long zipper down the back and two hook & eyes
at the neck.
We repeat, this entire dress is covered with thousands of hand-sewn
beadworks ~ must have taken the design team until now to finish!
CONDITION:
This
stunning dress is in very fine condition. We cannot find any loose or missing beads
or pearls. However, there are small flaws-there is a repair to the inside lining
of approx. 1 ½". It appears as if a heel went through the material-which is why
your mother always tells you to put your shoes on after you get dressed! There is
also one small "tea-colored" stain on the front of the dress. It is hardly
noticeable, especially with all the beads, sequins, pearls, and Rhinestone shining
so brightly, but we mention it for full disclosure.
The dress comes from a smoke-free
environment and has not been stored in a cellar or with mothballs. Can't you see
yourself as an eye-catcher and certainly the center of attention this Holiday season
wearing this beauty?

Lace Top Rhinestones w/ Glass Buttons, 1950s.
This lovely blouse
is a sheer, fitted lace on net ground with white rhinestone decorations on the front
& 6 glass buttons which fasten in the back. The rhinestones border the neckline
across the front, & also highlight the floral patterns in the lace. Each stone
is prong set & attached to the material through the back. The clear glass buttons
are a matching floral design. The stitched tag inside reads "La Femme Designed
by Lacher Size 34". It appears that it would fit a size 8 comfortably.
CONDITION:
This
item is EXCELLENT! There are no rips, stains, or tears. All of the figural glass
buttons are intact with no damage. There are no prongs with any missing rhinestones.

Black Chiffon Dress With Rhinestone Straps, 1950's.
This is a hand-made
vintage 50's black chiffon dress with rhinestone studded shoulder straps. The dress
features a vertically pleated & gathered bodice with a horizontally pleated &
gathered waist. The skirt of the dress is also pleated at the waist & has a 3-tied
black net underskirt. The length of the dress is slightly below the knee to mid-calf.
There is one strap per shoulder with a row of rhinestones pronged into the material.
It has a side zipper, which is covered by a flap of material. The size of this dress
would be approx. for a 4.
CONDITION:
There are tiny pulls in the under material,
but these are extremely minor & do not detract from the overall appearance. There
is one prong with a rhinestone missing from the right strap. Otherwise, this dress
is in wonderful WEARABLE condition.

This vintage pattern
is an ORIGINAL MOLYNEUX design in the paper envelope. Color photo of the finished
outfit and illustration of an alternate design on the front. Pattern #2627, fits
size 12, bust 34, hip 36.
Described on the back "Mid-knee length dress has
fitted bodice with bias front and dropped back waistline. Self or contrast bias notched
collar, slightly flared skirt (no side seams) with bias front panel forming side
front pleats, short or full length sleeves with self or contrast slit bias cuff and
button and buttonhole trim. Purchased contour belt."
CONDITION:
The pattern
is complete with 13 pattern pieces in opened envelope. Also includes two instruction
sheets. The envelope is in fine condition with just some minor creases to the corners.

VICTORIAN Beaded Mini CHANGE PURSE On Chain.
This VICTORIAN Miniature
Change Purse is attached to a vintage link silver-toned chain. The purse is beaded
in jewel tones: emerald, ruby, amethyst, pearl, jet, turquoise, and blue topaz. All
the beads applied to a cotton background, set in a silver-toned frame. The frame
is marked "GERMANY" on one side. There are two
raised pieces of metal
off the frame where the chain is attached. The interior of the purse is a teal-blue
color. Purse measures approx. 2 ½" x 2 ¾" at the largest. The chain measures
approx. 12".
CONDITION:
There are some loose and missing beads from small
sections of the purse. Overall, the purse is in very fine condition, especially considering
it's age and use.

Victorian Encrusted JET BEADED Fan Motif Purse.
Victorian era, JET
beaded purse, with a "Fan" motif at the bottom, done is silver gray glass
and iridescent beads. Beaded fringe hangs from the bottom of the purse. Measures
approx. 8 ¾" high, with fringe an additional 2", and the handle adding another
4 ½". Lined on the interior with green material (silk linen blend?), the handle
lined with black crepe material. The purse handle is sewn onto the back, and flips
over to close with a crocheted hook and eye closure on the front.
CONDITION:
Purse
is weighty and solid, in Excellent condition.

VINTAGE BLACK HEAVY BEADED EVENING POUCHETTE, 1930's-50's.
This
is the perfect purse for all upcoming festivities! Completely covered in black beads,
this elegant pouchette features a zippered closure across the top, with round, beaded
zipper-pull. Thin, and palm sized, this purse measures approx. 6" wide x 4"
high x ¾" thick. Brass zipper with black satin interior. There is a name printed
on the black satin, but has faded and is difficult to decipher. Looks like "MUCLJO"?
All the beads are sewn on, NOT GLUED. Age is estimated to be from the 1930's to the
1950's.
CONDITION:
Purse is in very fine condition. There are no missing
beads. Purse has been used, yet interior is clean with no stains, or rips to the

Artist Signed CATHOUSE Fig. Canvas Tote, MIP.
Vintage canvas tote
bag in the shape of a house, decorated with artist illustrated CATS in the windows.
Age is estimated from the late 1960's to the early 1970's. "CATHOUSE" printed
in black in the center of the tote. The illustration is the same on both sides. The
signature of the artist is located in the lower right corner, which appears to be
"Onenheimer". Measures approx. 12 ½" wide x 16 ½" at the highest
x 4 ¼" deep. Closes at the "peak of the roof" with one snap, and two
woven handles are attached to the top. Comes in a clear plastic bag.
CONDITION:
Although
the plastic bag has been opened, the bag has never been used. There is some soiling
to the material of the handles from being exposed, but the rest of the bag is in
very fine to excellent condition.

African Folk-Art Child's Purse, 1940s.
We've had this colorful hand
made purse over 20 years. It was acquired from the original owner who's father
(a correspondent in post-WWII Kenya) brought back from Africa. The little bag
itself is made of natural & dyed leathers, embroidered, and embellished with
"exotic" fur. There are evident signs of aging on a few parts of the treated
leather, i.e. 1 ½" rub on the top flap & rubs here & there along the
"accordion" construction sides of bag, and some stitches coming loose inside.
We have used this purse for display purposes as it is a beautiful and unusual work
of art. Measurements of the closed bag are 6" long x 7" wide, the leather
strap hangs down about 15" from the shoulder. In simpler terms, the bag measures
approx. 20" from the top of the strap down. Inside the purse, there are 5 separate
compartments with 2 additional flaps. One flap of dyed red leather, the other flap
with colorful red, green, gold, & white embroidery on black leather. It's hard
to describe, so please see the photo for details.

Rare Aluminum Dome Purse, 1950s.
This is a really unusual item.
It is a burnished aluminum dome handbag of approx. 7" long x 5" high, not
including the handle. The purse has 4 tiny ball feet & a snap closure. It is
lined with a black leather-type material. Looks like a mini lunch box for the retro-fashionable
to take to the office! Very Cool!

Unusual Shape Damask Brocade Purse, 1950's.
This is a very unusual
vintage evening purse dating from the early 1950s. The shape is most closely described
as "trapezoidal" & measures approx. 6" high x 2 1/3" at its
widest & 2 ½" in depth. With the attached handles, the entire piece measures
slightly more than 12". The design is of tulips & leaves in a very pale
rose tone on champagne colored background. There are accents of gold thread which
outline the brocaded floral design. The clasp is brass as are the rivets at the bottom
of the purse. The lining is of a taffeta/grosgrain material in a ecru/champagne color.
CONDITION:
Outside
of minor "dust" (we did not attempt to clean - we leave that up to the more
knowledgeable), the bag is in Excellent condition with no rips, tears, or stains.

Vintage Evening Purse with Tortoise Shell Handle.
This unusual handmade
evening bag measures 7" high x 7 ¾" wide (including the handles). It is
crocheted in a cream color cord, lined in a white "grosgrain" material.
Both the handles & catch are of a natural tortoise shell or horn, in shades of
creamy tan to a deep chocolate brown. This little purse is truly a one of a kind
fashion item, that dates, we would presume, 1930's.
Very clean. No chips or cracks
in the shell, or tears in the materials. Appears to be unused.

LARGE BLACK PATRICIA'S LEGACY PURSE, IN GIFT BOX & COACH TISSUE PAPER.
Simply a STUNNER ... Beautiful BLACK LEATHER with SATIN BRASS fittings COACH
Purse!
This "flap-over" style purse, released by COACH as "Patricia's
Legacy", measures approx. 11 ½" wide x 9" high x 4 ½" thick, with
the strap measuring an incredible 51" in total length (adjusts to 31 ½"
shortest length). There is the main zippered pocket in the center of the bag, but
there is also two other pockets on either side: one in front, and one that is created
by the flap over of the leather. There is also the smaller zippered pocket incorporated
into the interior back wall of the main zippered section.
The COACH creed and
SERIAL# (A8U-9951) impressed into the leather of this inside pocket. There is a
leather pull tab for the heavy brass zipper of the main section, and the inside pocket
has a smaller brass zipper with brass ring pull-tab. The leather COACH logo hang-tag
is applied with a brass ball chain.
The purse comes to you in the white and red
COACH Gift Box! Also included is white "C" tissue paper, and the plain
paper stuffed inside the purse to help keep it's shape.
CONDITION:
The Purse
is in near MINT "New" condition. There is no wear or damage to the leather,
and the polished satin brass fittings are factory fresh.
This was a gift, but
was never used because the original owner preferred demi purses. It was left in
the box in the closet.
The box is in great condition. No rips, tears, or tape

This GUCCI signature
wallet is made from black leather with brown leather accent. Marked on the front
with GUCCI engraved triangular-shaped crest on the front. Marked on the interior
with double intertwined "G", "GUCCI Accessory Collection ® Made In
Italy" printed in gold lettering on the change purse. Purse, which unsnaps &
flips open, reveals a bill compartment, change purse, and two pockets for credit
cards. Includes the original "American Express" advertising card in the
window pocket compartment. Wallet measures approx. 4 ½" wide (folded) x 3 ¾"
high x ¾" deep.
CONDITION:
This great wallet is in Excellent condition.
Appears to be very lightly used. There is a small dark spot to the lower right corner

Vintage Umbrella w/Rhinestones 1950's.
This wonderful item is truly
a bright spot on a rainy day, a white vintage material umbrella that has crystal
rhinestones accenting the black Bakelite-type top & handle. The umbrella measures
approx. 19 ½" L with the handle, & has a diameter of about 28" when
opened. The black handle is approx. 2"L by itself, & has 4 layers of stones
encircling the standout on the spheres. The very top is all over encrusted with these
same crystal stones. The finial or tip of the umbrella has one single circle of stones.
CONDITION:
This
item is excellent, with only some very minor orange spots where the metal rubbed
against the material. There are two rhinestones missing from the handle, which are
easily replaced. There are NO rips or tears in the material anywhere. An elegant,
vintage blast from the past, & a highly unusual piece for collectors of fifties
memorabilia!
