Hasbro issued brown rifle with the original
material sling & hooks. Rifle trim is a silvery-blue color. The original strap
was once elastic, but has since dried out. The strap is attached to the front of
the gun with a brass ring. The ring is still attached to the end of the strap. The
stock of the rifle is marked "Hasbro ®".
CONDITION:
The rifle is
in Excellent condition. Only exception being one strap hook (at the back of the rifle)
has a split, but is still there.

CONDITION:
The plug
is missing out of the valve on the raft, no strap on the rifle, two melt marks on

1st ISSUE PAT PENDING PAINTED-HAIR ACTION SOLDIER IN BOX, 1964.
This
is one of the first issues of Hasbro's GI JOE ACTION SOLDIER Figure. He comes in
the original box with 2-piece kaki uniform, high brown boots, plastic cap, metal
dog-tag, Army Manual, "Removal of Boots" instruction sheet, GI Joe Club
application, and insignia sticker sheet.
FIGURE: Brown-eyed and "Painted-Hair"
figure is marked on his butt "G. I. JOE ™ Copyright 1964 by Hasbro ® Patent
Pending Made In U.S.A."
CONDITION: There are usual stress cracks in front
of both knees. Rubs to the brown painted hair & on the left eyebrow.
BOX:
#7500, marked "Pat. Pending Uniforms Made In Japan and British Crown Colony
Of Hong Kong" on one end flap and "© 1964 Hassenfeld Bros., Inc." on
the other. Features color photos of accessory sets available for the Action Soldier
along the sides.
CONDITION:
There are some rubs to the paper along the edges,
and a split corner on the lower left of the lid. Original price sticker partially
removed on the front.
UNIFORM: The fatigue jacket and pants are a matching
set (material is the same gauge and color) and each are marked with a stitched tag
reading "G.I. JOE ™ by Hasbro ® JAPAN". Both are also marked with a printed
tag with a number. The jacket has "26", & the pants are marked with
"17". The jacket has 3 snaps running down the front, but has only 1 button
on the front. The pants have 2 snaps.
CONDITION: There are some ink marks on the
fatigues. The original owner wrote "SARGE" in ink on the back of the jacket.
There is another "S" on the inside of the shirt, but this is not seen from
the outside. There is an ink mark on the front of the pants near the snap closure.
There are very faint marks on the sleeves where the "Staff Sergeant" insignia
stickers once were-now missing. There are no other marks, rips, tears, or stains.
BOOTS: The boots are plastic, measuring slightly over 2" high. These
are a matched set for right & left feet. They are unmarked.
CONDITION: There
is a split along the inside measuring approx. 1 ¼" long and a hole in the heel
of the boot for the left foot. The right boot is in good condition.
CAP: The
plastic cap is marked inside with "G. I. JOE ™ by Hasbro ® Made in U.S.A."
The cap is detailed with "stitching" on the cap's brim & around the
band, inside & out.
CONDITION: The cap is Excellent condition with no melt
marks, splits, or scratches.
DOG-TAG: The dog-tag is white metal with "GI
JOE ™ By HASBRO ®" impressed into it. The tag is very shiny with no damage and
appears to be new. Although we have never seen them offered for sale, this tag may
possibly be a reproduction.
ARMY MANUAL: Pale yellow soft cardboard cover,
marked "Copyright 1964 Hassenfeld Bros., Inc.". There is no writing on
the "Property of" page (usually filled in by the original owner).
CONDITION:
Manual is in very fine condition with no writing, rips, stains, or tears.
BOOT
REMOVAL: Single sheet of paper with "Special Instructions" on how to remove
the boots without damaging either them or the leg.
CONDITION: Sheet is in Excellent
condition with no damage other than a few minor creases in the corner.
CLUB
APPLICATION: Single, folded sheet of paper with black & white photo of GI Joe
figure on the front. Opens to show the "coupon" for membership along with
everything the member receives upon joining.
CONDITION: The sheet is in Excellent
condition with no damage or writing other than a few minor crease marks here and
there.
INSIGNIA: Small sticker sheet with three U.S. Army ranks: Private First
Class, Corporal, and Staff Sergeant.
CONDITION: As mentioned, the Staff Sergeant
stickers were applied to the uniform of the figure, but the glue has long dried out
and these two stickers are missing. The rank insignia for Corporal and Private First
Class are still on the sheet, never removed.

This
is the RARE "Arctic Assault" Limited Edition JOE COLTON Mail Away 12"
figure.
This figure was available ONLY to those who sent the Proof Of Purchase for the "Green
Beret" edition JOE COLTON, but were denied due to high demand & quick supply
depletion. Only enough ARCTIC ASSAULT figures were produced to meet the demand of
requests received by the expiration date of the original offer (approx. 5,000). No
further figures were produced or released.
The figure is the same as the
Green Beret JOE COLTON, but this JOE is
dressed in 2-piece white parka with fur trimmed hood, white gloves, & white boots.
Included is white assault rifle & special GI JOE molded black stand attached
to wooden base.
We are including with JOE the original glossy 30th Salute GI
Joe colorfully illustrated order form, depicting the "Green Beret" JOE
COLTON… and the original notice from "Hasbro Toy Group" informing that
they would be sending this version of JOE COLTON.
CONDITION:
This JOE is
in MINT condition. Still sealed in all the original packaging. A must for the serious
collector of both new & vintage GI JOE memorabilia… a real top of the line addition.

CONDITION:
