a few of his closest friends, including KANGA & her son ROO, EEYORE, TIGGER,

MUSICAL JACK-IN-THE-BOX, 1960's.
This is the earlier version of this
toy - the metal with red knob "Winnie-The-Pooh-In-The-Music-Box" by Mattel.
The front panel shows Pooh, one paw in the Hunny jar with a bee buzzing around. Next
panel features a full figure of Pooh, Hunny pail in hand, staring at a "Keep
Out" sign on the beehive. The 3rd panel displays a full figure of Pooh, flowers
in one hand & the other hand up by his mouth, a caterpillar chewing on another
flower beside him. The last panel shows Pooh with a pink balloon, walking in the
flowers. The top, where Pooh pops out, features a yellow lid with "Winnie*The*Pooh"
and an illustration of Pooh.
The song on this music box is "Bear Went Over
The Mountain". It is marked on the back panel "© Walt Disney Productions.
Made In Mexico. Printed in U.S.A. All Rights Reserved. Music Arranged by Ted Duncan."
CONDITION:
Although the music box is in working order, the tune skips due
to lack of "play time". Mattel music boxes are notorious for this failure,
but usually can be remedied by repeated cranking. {We will leave this up to the discretion
of the buyer to judge whether this is acceptable.}
Pooh pops out without difficulty.
There are a few small dents (in the back on one corner) & dings to the metal
box. The yellow top lid displays rubs to the paint, although Winnie's illustration
is still loud & clear. Also, some paint rubs to the green around the opening
& some scrapes to the paint on the edges. There is some oxidation in these places.
Overall, the condition is good!
