Cross-Up Game, 1974.
Vintage game manufactured by Milton Bradley
and dated 1974. The lid features a color photo of Lucille Ball with the game spread
out in front of her. Facsimile signature "Lucy" to the side. Played in
the style of SCRABBLE, the game comes with a hard plastic card tray, 4 "CROSS-UP
Word Game" pads, 54 blue cards, and 54 red cards.
CONDITION:
The game
has been played, but the cards are still crisp. The original owner wrote her name
in ink 3 times on the lid and numerous times on the plain cardboard back of one of
the word pads. There are also some scribbles on the interior of the lid and the white
of one blue card colored with red marker. There are some rubs to the lid and a split
corner in the upper left. Price reduced in marker on the front. Overall, game is
in good condition.

Uncut Paper Dolls With Movie Outfits, 1934.
This soft cover book
of original paper dolls was published by Saalfield in 1934. It is an "Authorized
Edition" with FOUR SHIRLEY TEMPLE paper dolls & lots of clothing and stuff
included. Not only are there 30 outfits to dress SHIRLEY TEMPLE in, but there are
also smaller "real photo" stand-ups to cut & play with.
Inside
the cover is written… "Showing the Captivating five-year-old screen star, the
dresses she wears, and the toys with which she plays." Included in her toys
are: BEACH SAND PAIL… KEWPIE type doll… TEDDY BEAR… Fancy Wagon… Wicker Stroller…
Compo Dolls in frilly dresses… Sailboat… Baskets… red wooden Wagon… stuffed Monkey…

Book
is in very fine condition with normal age wear. There is ½ page cut from the center
of the book, but otherwise all of the dolls and outfits are uncut. There is rubbing
to the spine with splits at the upper & lower corners, but the pages are still
firmly attached in the interior. Curls in the lower right corner.

TWIGGY DOLL BY MATTEL, WITH ORIGINAL DRESS, BOOTS, and WRIST-TAG, 1967.
This is the 11"tall TWIGGY doll manufactured by Mattel, Inc. in 1967.
She comes complete with her blue, yellow, and green vertical-striped mini dress,
white nylon panties, yellow "squishy" go-go boots, and the silver-foil
wrist-tag. The dress is marked with the black and white stitched "Twiggy"
tag. Twiggy comes on a Twist 'n Turn (TnT) Francie/Casey body and has the
Casey head mold, but with heavier make-up and pronounced lower lashes. Her
rooted hair is a very soft platinum color. The body is marked "© 1966
Mattel, Inc. U.S. Patented U.S. Pat. Pend. Made In Japan".
SPECIAL BONUS! We will also include a "Twiggy Turnouts" mini-dress. It is
tagged with the black & white stitched Twiggy label, but missing the silver
self-belt.
CONDITION:
Twiggy appears to be in excellent condition. Her hair is soft and shiny,
uncut. Her facial paint is beautiful with no rubs, and her rooted
eyelashes are all there. There is a slight separation at the joint of the
legs at the hips. They are not loose or swingy, just a gap there.
The dress displays some light age soiling. It has been rinsed with Perk.
The nylon panties are a little stretched at the waist and leg areas. The
yellow boots are fine--marked on the soles "Japan". The wrist-tag had been
ripped off, with the part going around the wrist ripped on both ends. We
taped it back into place for display.
Twiggy Turnouts mini-dress is in fine, used condition. Repair on the seam
at the waist, and missing the belt. Otherwise, in great displayable
condition.

feature Burl Ives, Jack Carson & Dame Judith Anderson, along with Taylor &
Newman… while the play pictures feature Mr. Ives & Ben Garraza, along with Barbara
Bel Geddes [Miss Ellie from 'Dallas" fame]. Back of book also has black &

ABBOTT AND COSTELLO "WHO'S ON FIRST" MEMORY BOARD GAME, 1978.
This board game is based on the famous skit of "Who's on First" by comedians
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. It was manufactured in 1978 by Selchow &
Righter Co. The die-cut playing pieces are illustrated with Baseball
Fielders, and the cards are illustrated with Baseball batters. The playing
board is illustrated as a baseball field.
CONDITION:
All the pieces to play the game are included. The game comes with 2 sheets
of comedy routines that is no longer with the game. The playing pieces,
stands, and 2 die are in fine condition, as is the playing board. The box
displays some minor age wear, and one split corner each in the box bottom and
lid.

printing from August 1944. Original copyright date is 1940. There
are pages of black and white photos throughout the book.
CONDITION:
There
is chipping and creases to the dust jacket, which features many black and white
photos of Sonja Henie on both the front and back. The book itself is in
very good condition with a tight spine. Comes from a smoke-free
environment. The original owner's name and the date of Christmas 1944 is
written on the inside of the front cover. Graded at 8.5.
