CAMPBELL'S KIDS ALBUM-SIZED PROTOTYPE OF CAMPBELL'S KIDS CHILDREN'S CLASSICS.
Straight from the Art Department of the Campbell's Soup Company, this is a Mock-Up for their 1976 CHILDREN'S CLASSICS promotion. We were fortunate enough to get this from a former Campbell's Soup Company employee. This was not the final draft for this series so it is HIGHLY UNUSUAL that this Mock-Up has survived & is now available. Art Department Mock-Ups such as this are usually destroyed.
One side of the red art board features two photographs of illustrations of the classics to be presented on the cassette tape. "The Trojan War" and "The Cyclops". Hand cut CAMPBELL'S KIDS are pasted on each side of the red cassette, which is labeled "DON'T PLAY - - MOCK-UP". In the center of the board is a sticker with "CAMPBELL KIDS CHILDREN'S CLASSICS".
The reverse features a black & white sheet of paper with the CAMPBELL KIDS {he's dressed as Uncle Sam} presenting the various classics available in this series. Along the bottom of the page, various mock-up cans of CAMPBELL'S products are pictured, i.e. soup… spaghettios… V-8… gravy…beans… etc.
